This policy explains how Flowlink Ceilings Sdn Bhd (“Flowlink”, “we”, “us”), company registration 202201025391 (1470258-W), of No. 12-1, Jalan Setia Prima (S) U13/S, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor, handles personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

1. Data We Collect

When you submit our site-visit form, call us, or write to us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the type and location of your property, and any project details you choose to share. If you visit our showroom, CCTV may record your visit for security purposes.

2. Why We Collect It

• To schedule and carry out site measurements and quotations you request.
• To prepare contracts, invoices and warranty documents for confirmed projects.
• To respond to enquiries, service requests and warranty claims.
• To meet legal, tax and audit obligations that apply to a Malaysian company.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have expressly asked to receive them.

3. Who Sees Your Data

Access is limited to Flowlink staff who need it to serve you. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Limited details may be shared with service providers acting on our instructions (for example an accounting firm or courier), each bound by confidentiality, or with authorities where the law requires disclosure.

4. How Long We Keep It

Enquiry records that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project and warranty records are kept for the duration of the 10-year warranty plus any period required by Malaysian tax law, then securely destroyed.

5. Security

Records are stored on access-controlled systems. Paper survey sheets are digitised and shredded. While no method of storage is perfectly secure, we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

6. Your Rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent to further processing. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 21 days. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to perform an ongoing contract, and we will explain any such consequence before acting.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this page as our practices or the law change. The revision date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page for 30 days.
